This book was incredible!! Flanagan always seems to have a way to blend battles with an interesting story line which is good because I generally do not enjoy books with huge battle scenes. For some reason the Ranger's group is totally different, and i find myself fascinated with what they will be doing next. The original Ranger's Apprentice series worked that way, and so far this one is as well. Reading about what Halt went through during his early years in the group is rather interesting. I find myself constantly looking forward to the next page, chapter, or book which is a sign of a good author to me. Now to wait for the next installment....
