Murder Past Due by Miranda James
So the synopsis for this book mentions a cat, a librarian, and a murder which made me think woohoo. Then I read the thing. It does contain all of the pieces that were advertised, but it was the most boring murder mystery I have read in a long time. The cat was the only real redeeming point though he was not enough on his own to hold the story. I only made it until the end because of avid curiosity, but I will be in no hurry to read the rest of the books in this series. I would give this one 2.5 stars but since Goodreads does not have half stars I had to mark 3 on there.
