Book one in the Hamptons
Home & Garden Mysteries. Meet Meg Barrett who runs a type of interior decorating business out of Montauk which happens to be close to East Hampton. As she showed up to a meeting to see about cataloging the contents of an old attic she walks in to find the Queen of the Hamptons dead and her daughter injured rocking the body. She is hired along with her best friend Elle to catalogue the contents of the house for the insurance company and while doing so finds herself wrapped up in solving the murder which is normal phenomena for her because her father is a retired detective. The development was smooth, the characters are well developed, and the story kept me hooked until the end. I really enjoyed it and give it 4/5 stars.
