Book one in the Demons of New York series. Meet Charlotte and her fiance Liam as they get into a car wreck in chapter one while the next chapter jumps back to when they met. The book continues in this manner until the two time frames meet one another and we get a good idea of how their relationship progressed. After the wreck Charlotte meets a Demon who offers to save Liam in exchange for her help and her soul. Of course she agrees and what follows is quite weird while still being awesome at the same time. The writing style is incredible and it really sucked me in. The story premise is also really good. I enjoyed all of the details and if the rest of the series goes in the same manner it will be a really good to say the least. I just love the blending of the real, the magical, and the supernatural all into one big story with a nice twist at the end which I did not see coming. I give this book 4/5 stars since I liked it so much and am looking forward to more books as they come out.
