Curiosity Thrilled the Cat by Sofie Kelly

Book on in the Magical Cats Mystery series. I just have to say that I loved this book. It has the perfect combination of magic, cats, a strong character, a library, and enough intrigue to keep it all moving right along to make this the perfect cozy mystery. We get to meet Kathleen who moved to Mayville Heights, Minnesota to take over as the head librarian in heir old Carnegie library as it is being overhauled by a massive renovation that will bring it up to today's times when it comes to the collection and the technology. Ever since the project begun little accidents keep happening that only seem to hurt Kathleen. As if that is not bad enough when a dead body is found she becomes the prime suspect because he has a note in his pocket asking him to meet her and the murder site is found in the library itself. Against her better judgement she finds herself asking questions and being helped in her efforts by her two cats Hercules and Owen. She thinks she is losing her mind as Herc seems to walk through walls and Owen can disappear. As they keep doing though she quickly realizes how special they really are and how much they mean to help her with her investigation. This is a very well written novel that kept me hooked from the very first page until I found myself unable to put it down. I loved it so much it gets 5/5 stars.
