Book two in the Pepper Martin series. Pepper firmly accepted the fact that she could see the ghost of the dead mob boss in book one but she thought he would be the only one. This is so not the case. Directly after the first ghost moves on she is confronted by the ghost of a woman who claims to be the dead sister of a famous author that is from the area and is coming back to promote the anniversary of her one and only best selling book. Didi (the ghost) says that instead she wrote the book and will Pepper please help her do that? Of course Pepper does not want to do so but when the sisters visit interferes with her job causing a temporary layoff because no tours will be given she decides that she really needs something to do with her time. Just as she starts looking into things a woman turns up dead and the events just build from there. She solves several murders and the case of who really wrote the book by the end and I admit to being a little surprised by the culprits. This is a nice blend of reality, fantasy, and murder making it a very enjoyable cozy mystery that I recommend to fans of that genre. Much more lively than the first book though I really enjoyed them both so this one gets 4/5 stars.
