San Francisco astrologer Julia Bonatti never thought murder would be part of her practice, but when her former boss and current client asks for help she agrees to go undercover at his law firm. Three people have received death threats and the only common denominator between them is a case long settled--the infamous Bank of San Francisco fire. Julia’s astrological expertise provides clues but no one wants to listen. Before she can solve the mystery, two people are dead and her own life is in danger. Julia must unmask the killer before he, or she, takes another life.

REVIEW
*I received a free copy of this book from Netgalley which I voluntarily chose to write an honest review for.The books is this series just keep getting better and better. While still doing her astrology this time Julia is also filling in as a legal secretary for her old boss for one week. This ends up landing her right in the middle of murders, threats, lies, and so much more. I don't know what it is about mixing the astrological stuff with murder but it really makes for a great mystery I must say. This writing will truly keep you hooked and guessing the entire way with the solution being a surprise. If you enjoy cozy mysteries then you really have to read this. I loved it so I give it 5/5 stars.

DeleteConnie - I like the picture on your FB page for today's post. Great wall hanging!
ReplyDeleteHi Sally ~ The red dragon? Is that the one you meant? Isn't that a fantastic picture? I "borrowed" that from my first stop on the tour - MJB Reviewers. Mary found it and I thought it was wonderful. Couldn't resist!
DeleteI like the red dragon too, but the one I meant today was the one you used for the Books a Plenty post - it looks like a wall hanging or blanket or rug - all the Zodiac signs in a circle. It's different but very cool.
DeleteOh that one, yes! That's a mosaic, maybe Roman. Some came from the British Museum when they opened their collections to free use. My favorite is an Icelandic one from the 8th century that I've posted a few times. Strange to think that people were carving zodiac symbols in rocks centuries ago, isn't it?
DeleteThanks for the review. I'm looking forward to reading this book.
