Talk about some great world building!! It starts on page one dropping into a world of Gods, powers, and plots. Carita is thrown into this world when she is chosen as champion by Ruby. After some training she is tasked with helping hold a competition for the best man to become the father of Ruby's baby. What she doesn't know is that there is a prophecy about the baby which changes things. Lucian must father it but Ruby hates him so he is disguise. Carita and him team up to make it work falling in love in the process even though they cannot be together for awhile. Full of twists, turns, and plots you won't see coming. I really liked it so I give it 4/5 stars.
