He gripped my chin as he pinned me to the wall with his throbbing muscles. “I know everything, Harley. It’s part of what I bring to the table for this crew. I can read people like a fucking book, and I never want to stop reading you. I never want to stop learning about you. All you have to do is say the word. All you have to do is tell me what I already know.”
My gaze fell to his lips. “If you already know it, why do I have to say it?”
He grinned. “Because once the truth is spoken, it’s real. Tell me the truth, Harley. Tell me exactly when you fell in love with me.”
And as his breath pulsed against my lips, my gaze returned back to his all-knowing stare.
“When you didn’t put a bullet in my head after coming out of my brother’s apartment complex,” I whispered.
