At the age of seventeen, I woke up Christmas morning, to gunshots instead of presents. I know my life already sounds morbid, and yes that’s how it starts.

 

The one good thing, that came out of me moving in with my aunt is meeting, Cade Teller. I don’t even think I was breathing when I locked eyes with him for the first time. My entire world came to a halt. He was my cousin’s best friend and my new crush.
