Book one in the new Vintage Toy Shop Mystery series. Meet Liz who helps run a vintage toy shop with her retired police chief father after her was forced to retire early due to an injury. While he loves running the store he misses investigating so when a man is found dead in their shop with dad knocked unconscious the two of them team up in order to clear his name. What follows is very comical investigation with a nice touch of whimsy thrown in with the toys (especially the creepy monkey). The story is well thought out and written making it highly enjoyable which kept me turning the pages until I hit the very lat one. I highly recommend it to fans of cozy mysteries giving it 4/5 stars.
