About the Author

Debra Sennefelder, the author of the Food Blogger Mystery series and the Resale Boutique Mystery series, is an avid reader who reads across a range of genres, but mystery fiction is her obsession. Her interest in people and relationships is channeled into her novels against a backdrop of crime and mystery. When she’s not reading, she enjoys cooking and baking and as a former food blogger, she is constantly taking photographs of her food. Yeah, she’s that person. Born and raised in New York City, she now lives and writes in Connecticut with her family. She’s worked in pre-hospital care, retail and publishing. Her writing companions are her adorable and slightly spoiled Shih-Tzus, Susie and Billy. She is a member of Sisters in Crime, International Thriller Writers, Women's Fiction Writers Association and Romance Writers of America.

*I received a free copy of this book from Netgalley which I voluntarily chose to write an honest review for.

What an amazing start to a new series! This book really had it all. We get to meet Hope who runs her own food/entertaining blog after a messy divorce. Things are going great until she finds a dead body at a garden club party and her sister ends up as the main suspect. I'm telling you from that point on it is just one thing after another with this girl as she runs around trying to solve the case only to be hurt or in trouble time and time again. I admit it kept me guessing as well as curious about what we going to be on the next page. As an added bonus just as I was missing some kind of fur one popped up to fill the void. This is a must read for cozy mystery fans with a culinary twist. I loved it so I give it 5/5 stars.
