REVIEW
*I received a free copy of this book which I voluntarily chose to write an honest review for.
Definitely an intriguing start to a new series. We meet Calliope who writes because she loves it but has to hide it from her parents. She enters a writing contest in secret but when her parents find out things get really bad. They ground her and send her off to a boarding school which they think will be punishment. She gets a surprise when she gets there only to find out it a school just for writers and they recruited her thanks to her contest entry. Her parents will be kept in the dark. This sounds awesome until the threats pop up, secrets start flying, and mysteries abound. A solid start which builds an interesting world perfect for readers and authors alike. Plenty of twists around solid characters. I really liked it so I give it 4/5 stars.
