Childs is a fantastic go-to author when comes to looking for a good cozy to read and the addition of Moran just makes it that much better I must say. We get to go to New Orleans this time as Carmela and Ava gear up for Jazz Fest looking forward to all the great things that cab be found there. Plans go awry though when they here a crash from the antiques shop and upon looking they find Devon on the floor with lots of blood. This sets things up for a quirky investigation that is just full of little gems from the festival, a really adorable pug, and quirky characters. Blended all together it makes for a light fun read that is perfect for fans of cozies. I really liked it so I give it 4/5 stars.

New Orleans’ spooky above-ground cemeteries, jazz clubs, bayous, and Mardi Gras madness make their presence known here!

This series offers recipes, knitting, cake decorating, and a dash of spirituality.
