Well this is definitely an interesting start to a new series. We meet Valentine a vampire that has been on her own since she woke up that way after an attack. She is constantly worried abut running into the monster that attacked her hoping he never finds her again. Enter Axel sent to figure out what is going on in the area the two end up in a fight together where they both could have died. Forced to work together things become quite interesting as the they get closer to the truth. Makes for quite the fast paced fun read that takes on a trip to a world full of paranormals that keep things surprising. I really liked it so I give it 4/5 stars.

Selene Kallan is a fantasy author who daydreams about her imaginary worlds most of the time. Her obsession with vampires, and all things supernatural, has made her an avid reader. She loves writing, discovering new metal bands, and watching superhero movies. She is also feeling a little crazy while writing about herself in third person, but apparently, this is the way to go.
