Book four in the Playful Brides series. I love how the women in these books do not stick to traditional historical roles. The leading lady this time is pretty much a spy in her own right and to help with a mission in the past she married her partner. This was supposed to be annulled after the mission though which was not an issue until Daphne decides it is time to get married for real but before the new man proposes she needs to be a free woman. Her husband makes her a deal of one more mission then he will sign the papers. The problem is that they both really want to be with each other and just cannot admit it. The resulting romance is quite comical and I thoroughly enjoyed it as they each kept misunderstanding the other one. If you enjoy historical romance novels set during the regency period you really have to give this one a chance as I doubt you will regret it later. I really enjoyed this one so it gets 4/5 stars.
