The fifth and I believe the last book in the Charmed Pie Shoppe Mystery series. Ella Mae's life is really different after the events of the last book. She has had learn to adapt and live her life in a whole new way though she is more than willing to embrace this new lifestyle. Of course she could be so eager because Hugh and her have finally gotten back together. He plans to stick around so much he asks her mother to perform the lunar rose ceremony which freaks Ella Mae out until he explains. The one problem is that Loralyn is still missing and Opal her mother is dying from cancer making it necessary to find her as well as a dead body which happens to be the President of a club. These two lines both lead back to the Camellia club which just happened to hire Ella Mae to work at one of their workshops making it easy for her to get a foot in the door of their exclusive club. The secrets start adding up to the point where things finally have to explode leading to the end of the story. I have to admit that I did not enjoy this book nearly as much as the first four. The massive change that happened in her life made the book a little awkward as she tried to fit in. This made the story stumble a little bit plus I was getting a little tired of everyone being so worried about it as well making it feel very repetitious at times. The grand finale was incredible though and I really enjoyed that part as well as the epilogue. It was wrapped up very nicely which is why I do believe this is the last book in this series. I gave it 4/5 stars on Goodreads but if I am being totally honest it is closer to a 3.5.
