We pick right back up where book two ended and now we get POV's from Valerie and Thorn. These two have an interesting dynamic. He lost the love of his life but has the chance to get her back with Valerie's help. This of course causes some drama within the group. Add in the revealed secrets along with a surprise twist and you won't be able to put this down as it all plays out. I am hooked to this series by this point and cannot wait to see what happens next. I really liked it so I give it 4/5 stars.

We pick back up where book one left off. Cora has been kidnapped away from her mates. This is not a pleasant place either giving her plenty of things to deal with as she survives. This makes for a dark read with plenty of possible triggers. It really had me hooked as it all played out rooting Cora on. Plenty of surprises as well. I cannot wait to see what happens in book three. I really liked it so I give it 4/5 stars.

We pick back up right where book one left off and the action never stops. Valerie still has not regained her memories but now she is training with Cielle to get her skills back. The story bounces between the two POV's to give you the full story about what has been and is going on. Makes for a fascinating read as each new secret is revealed. Plenty of action and suspense to move the story along as well making it a riveting read. I cannot wait to see what happens next. I totally loved it so I give it 5/5 stars.

What an intriguing start to a new series this is. We meet Valerie as she wakes up with absolutely no memories in a place that looks like Purgatory. All of her friends think she has betrayed them but with no memory she has no clue if this is true or not. Makes for an interesting start to what should be a great series. I really liked it so I give it 4/5 stars.

What an intriguing book this is. We get a fabulous mix of the supernatural world along with the Gods or at least one known as Rae. Rae has been held captive for a really really long time. So long that most of the world has forgotten about the Gods all together so when she finally gets free it opens things up for what should she do now. This would have more options if supernaturals were not going missing all over the place with no one having a clue about what is happening. This makes for a fascinating mystery adventure as it all plays out filled with lots of sass from Rae. This makes for a great read as it all plays out. I really liked it so I give it 4/5 stars.

OMG this book totally blew my mind!! This is the finale to this series we have all been waiting for. At the same time we finally get to see what happens with Kennedy and Lincoln who's story is so long overdue. It is hard to say more without giving away any spoilers so all I can say is that is totally blew my mind while messing with all of my emotions. A total must read!! I totally loved it so I give it 5/5 stars.

Prologue

Lincoln

I'm in love with a monster.
A beautiful vengeful soul of a girl.
Most men would run the other way when confronted with such an unforgiving force, but not me. Never me.
I've always known what lay dormant in her heart—the twisted darkness that dwelled silently inside of her.
A wiser man would have done everything in his power to keep such a danger to his soul away from him. He’d keep it at arm’s length to prevent the carnage that he knew was on the horizon.
But I’ve never claimed to be a smart man.
Such prudence has no room in a life when it’s the heart taking the lead in every decision. Because no matter how hard I tried not to love her, so deeply, so irrefutably, from day one, I knew I was destined to be hers.
My love-sick heart saw beauty amongst all the ugliness that lived and breathed in hers.
I saw nothing but glorious light inside her tormented, dark soul.
It’s not the worst sight to behold.
Especially in a man’s final moments.
Tied and bound to my spot, I take whatever little time is still afforded to me to admire my love. All the while knowing that the gun in her hand, pointed at my chest, is growing heavier in her grip by the second.
All sound disappears as I get lost in the sky blue of her eyes.
Ocean and sky.
One cannot live without the other.
Everything ceases to exist.
It’s just me and her.
Her pain.
My love.
She places a quivering finger on the trigger, a single tear running down her cheek, as she perfects her aim.
My beautiful, vengeful monster.
My hands grip the arms of the wooden chair, desperate to touch her and soothe her guilt.
Her shame.
But in the end, all I can do is keep my sights fixed affectionately on hers, silently encouraging her to do what needs to be done.
"I love you," I mouth silently, her lids squinting in grief at the declaration.
And with a loud cry, my love, my heart, my very soul, pulls the trigger aimed at the heart that loves her.

Kennedy

‘I love you.’
Those are the last words Lincoln chooses to whisper, already forgiving me for the sin I’m about to commit.
But there is no absolution.
Not for me.
And not for him.
Because in the end…
All evil men must die.
