Much A’Broom About Nothing by Erin Johnson

Much A’Broom About Nothing by Erin Johnson
*I received a free copy of this book which I voluntarily chose to write an honest review for.

This is book one in a new series that has a different author for each book though they all share the same world of the Renaissance Faire. We meet Adelaide who is on a horrid date at the faire when she runs into her ex with the woman he cheated with. Now depressed she buys some sweets from a shop to eat away her sorrows. Imagine her surprise when it closes and she cannot leave thanks to a hidden barrier stopping her. She has magic though she doesn't know it and the faire is cursed so that none with magic can leave after eating the sweets. Taken in by a horrid woman she tries to adapt which is hard when she wakes up the next morning with the woman dead next to her and the lazy sheriff states she did it. Now she has to clear her name before the punishment begins. Full of magic and surprises this book will keep you turning the page until it all done. I must say I am loving the faire so far. A must read. I totally loved it so I give it 5/5 stars.
