Character
Interview
Character Name: Mya Rochon
1) Tell us a little bit about yourself--both something we learn from [the story] and something that readers might not guess?
Well, I think everyone knows I’m passionate about science and STEM education but something that you might not know about me is that I play flute.
2) How did you first meet your writer?
I met KD in college. We were in orchestra together and were roommates for three years.
3) Want to dish about him/her?
Oh, do I. I’m not sure I should though. She has just as many stories about me as I do about her.
4) Why do you think that your life has ended up being in a book?
Well, I admittedly have been through a dramatic time in my life. Generally, my life is pretty boring but the theft of my research and the destruction of my research lab isn’t an everyday occurrence.
5) Who's your favorite character? Why?
Dr. Emmett Brown from Back to the Future. He figured out time travel, a scientist’s dream.
6) Who's your least favorite character? Why?
Frankenstein. He gives scientist a bad name.
7) What's next for you?
Now that I’ve found a new research lab, it’s
back to work. And with Gideon and I more committed than ever to each other, I’m
looking forward to the spending the rest of my life with the man I love.
