Book one in the Model Mayhem Series and what an interesting start it is to. Dylan was born and bred in Kansas where is became a full blown cowboy. He shows up in New York to surprise his sweetheart only to get an unpleasant surprise of his own. I do believe this puts him in a state of shock because next thing he knows he has hooked up with a modeling agent to get revenge. The problem is that he is attracted to the new agent and she likes him too. Conflicting emotions and events build up to a cliff hanger finale that really leaves you wanting to know what is going to happen next between these two. If you enjoy steamy cowboys novels that just happen to take place in a big city then you really have to try this book. I really enjoyed it so I give it 4/5 stars.

Ride With the Seal
Leslie North
(Norse Security, #1)
Publication date: May 24th 2018
Genres: Adult, Romance, Suspense
When ex-SEAL Camden Thursday enters the garage at two in the morning, he’s intent on grand theft auto. Instead he’s confronted with more than a hot car—there’s a sexy mechanic too. His high school crush, wrench in hand, projects a “Dangerous Curves Ahead” warning far more tempting than any joy ride, but Camden isn’t here to try the road less traveled. He’s here to jack a car and prove he can do more than manipulate computer code for the black ops service he works for: Norse Security. So while Camden is looking to get physical on this job, he was hoping for someone to punch, not someone to plunder…
Everly Knight is the baddest bad girl in town. As the daughter of a mobster and a name in the auto industry for hot cars, she could rest on her laurels and let her reputation proceed her. However, Everly has a deep dark secret: she wants nothing more than a shiny, new, legal garage all of her own. She’s just a few thousand away from cashing in and figures that one last illegal car theft could finance her legal dreams. That is until the geek from her past shows up as a hunky hero; letting Everly see that it’s possible to become more than just a tough girl.
Camden may be all muscle, but it’s Everly who can stall the entire operation. She holds him hostage and offers an ultimatum: Take her on the ride or find himself a sitting duck for the mob. It’s not a hard choice when the bombshell revs his engine. But with warring goals and secret missions, they’ll find themselves fighting for their futures and racing toward a love they never saw coming.
REVIEW
*I received a free copy of this book which I voluntarily chose to write an honest review for.
Yet another wonderful contemporary romantic suspense novel from Leslie North who is very quickly becoming one of my go-to authors for the genre. Camden and Everly both attempt to steal one really sweet ride in the middle of the night from under the nose of the mob. Well of course this would lead to trouble that throws them together for the foreseeable future as they try to solve their predicament. Added bonus they know one another from high school where they had secret crushes on one another. This leads to some really steamy moments as the romance involves in between the danger they are stuck in. If you enjoy contemporary romantic suspense novels then I highly recommend this one. I really enjoyed it so I give it 4/5 stars.
Author Bio:
Leslie North is the pen name for a critically-acclaimed author of women's contemporary romance and fiction. The anonymity gives her the perfect opportunity to paint with her full artistic palette, especially in the romance and erotic fantasy genres.
The truth of the matter is she loves her fictional persona, Leslie North, more than her normal, day-to-day persona! Her bestselling books focus on strong characters and particularly women who aren't afraid to challenge an alpha male. Inspired after years of travel, her stories are set all over the world, from the tough streets of Russia to the beautiful beaches of the middle east.
Leslie fell in love with romance when she first picked up a scrappy, dog-eared romance book from her local library. She began writing soon after and the rest, as they say, was history. She now lives in a cozy cottage on the British coast and enjoys taking long walks with her two Dalmatians, George and Fergie.

Release Blitz for Shopping for a Billionaire's Baby by Julia Kent
Out Now—Shopping for A Billionaire’s Baby
(Book 13 in the Shopping series)
by Julia Kent
Release date: April 24, 2018
Genre: Romantic Comedy, Contemporary Romance
Description:
You know
what's even better than marrying a billionaire? Having his baby.
We're
ready. We've studied and planned, read all the birth and labor books,
researched parenting classes, consulted our schedules, and it's time.
And by we I mean me.
Declan's
just ready for the "have lots of sex" part. More than ready.
But
there's just one problem: my husband and his brother have this little obsession
with competition.
And by little, I mean stupid.
That's
right.
We're
not just about to try to bring a new human being into the world.
We have
to do it better, Faster, Stronger.
Harder.
McCormick
men don't just have babies.
They
engage in competitive billionaire Babythons.
I
thought the hardest part about getting pregnant would be dealing with my
grandchild-crazed mother, who will go nuts shopping for a billionaire's baby.
Wrong.
Between
conception issues, my mother's desire to talk to the baby through a hoo-haw
cam, a childbirth class led by a drill sergeant and a father-in-law determined
to sign the kid up for prep school before Declan even pulls out, my pregnancy
has turned out to be one ordeal after the other.
But it's
nothing -- nothing -- compared to the
actual birth.
Shopping for a Billionaire's Baby is the newest book in Julia
Kent's New York Times bestselling romantic comedy series and is a 400+ page
full-length novel.
Excerpt:
“This
conception stuff has you thinking. Philosophically, I mean,” Andrew notes,
suddenly paying close attention to me.
“Of
course. It’s powerful.”
“How?
It’s just sex.”
I
snort. “I thought so, too. Until I had sex where I tried to get her pregnant on
purpose.”
Vince,
Gerald, and Andrew all take a step closer to me.
“Bareback,”
Vince whispers, like the word itself is holy.

Sinful Ice by Lacey Carter Anderson
*I received a free copy of this book which I voluntarily chose to write an honest review for.
Book two in the Harem of the Shifter Queen series. This time we get to follow Riya as she was sent away during the events of book one to keep her safe from the invading dragons. The problem is that her scent is just as strong as her sister's which puts her danger as she travels. One pack of shifters offers to keep her safe from another pack of essentially the bad guys. In order to provide safety the relationship development has to be lightning fast though still nice and steamy none the less. I was loving the ice powers in contrast to the fire of book one. This book kept me hooked from the very first page and I highly recommend it to fans of the genre. I absolutely loved this one wishing it was longer so it gets 5/5 stars.

Book one in the Harem of the Shifter Queen though each one has a new female MC and a new group of harem guys though the world in the same. We meet Hira who is being sacrificed to the dragons in an effort to save the small town. Just as they are coming she is rescued by a pack of wolves that promise to keep her safe as their mate. The relationship is streamlined quickly due to the danger but that doesn't make it less hot. The combination of a strong chick with fire power and some sexy shifters makes for a fascinating story to say the least. My only complaint is that I wish it was longer even though I knew it was novella going in I just got hooked on the story not wanting it to be over. Great for fans of paranormal reverse harem romance novels. I really enjoyed it so I give it 4/5 stars.

Great start to this new series! We get to meet Maia a 19-year-old competitive eater that wins a trip to London to enter a competition there. Entering her world gives us some entertaining tidbits as we learn about the world of competitive eating. After she wins the semi-finals she gets to stay for a week where she proceeds to meet three really hot guys who ultimately change her life forever. Add in a crazy cat, some magic, and lots of secrets to get a paranormal reverse harem romance novel that you cannot put down. I highly recommend it to fans of the genre. I really liked it so I give it 4/5 stars.

REVIEW
*I received a free copy of this book which I voluntarily chose to write an honest review for.
I can honestly say that this is a new method of solving a murder for me which is amazing after the number of murder mysteries I have read in my life by this point. Grace has been found guilty of murdering her boyfriend at an exotic local. After a decade of incarceration she reaches out to Sidney who is a well known maker of documentaries that have cleared others that have been wrongly convicted. This leads to an interesting method of investigation as filming and more is worked in to keep the bosses happy. The story does drum up attention just nor necessarily they kind they wanted. All of this leads to a surprising conclusion that I didn't really see coming. Overall this is a well written mystery/crime/suspense novel that keeps the story moving as it brings all of the parts together. I really enjoyed it so I give it 4/5 stars.

Release Blitz for Gumshoe Girl by Andi Ramos
Introducing Debut
Novel Gumshoe Girl by Andi Ramos (@andiramosauthor)
Title: Gumshoe Girl
Author: Andi Ramos
Blurb:
Sheagan O’Hare
got more than she bargained for when her newly inherited detective agency lands
its first case; a missing person, embezzlement, and murder. Sheagan’s out to prove she can
hang with the pro's, despite the constant reminder of her amateur status from
an annoyingly attractive FBI agent, Colin 'Mac' MacEvine, who’s forced himself into her
life.
How does she feel when an old high school friend hopes to ignite
a new romance?
Will she be able to discover if detective work and love can
mingle before someone gets hurt?

Excerpt
Sheagan blinked back the sting in her
eyes as sweat drizzled from her forehead. Her shoulders and forearms cried out
as determination inched her body forward through the tin walls that framed her
slender figure. The narrow shaft rendered her legs useless as they dragged
behind her like dead weight. She made a vow to start working out as she
approached her destination, the metal grate that looked down into the
sweetheart suite of the Eliot Hotel.
She shimmied her binoculars out of her
bag and clutched them in her sweaty palms as she readied herself to delve into
the world of private investigating. The friction of her movements caused her
mahogany mane to cling to all the surfaces of her temporary confinement.
Perched behind the filigree frame, peering like a caged animal, she was a mere
20 feet from her target. Her target? The Rat Bastard, who up until this very
moment she’d
called boyfriend.
She wasn’t
there to kill him, even though the thought had crossed her mind; no, she was
there to catch him in the act. She suspected he had been cheating on her for
some time, so proof would end her suspicion or the relationship. Spying on her
significant other through an air-vent of a swanky hotel room was hardly a
promising start to her so-called glamorous career as a private detective. But
it snapped her back into the reality that her new chosen profession would often
be messy and difficult.
She peered through the grate and envied
the spacious room below, but her viewing angle was no good for the task at
hand. She could feel the heat in her cheeks rise along with her anger as she
scanned the room and soaked in the extravagance–the hardwood tables, the
Italian marble fireplace, the opulent sheen of the fabric on the overstuffed
furniture that glimmered in the soft candlelight. The Rat Bastard was not known
to overindulge on frivolous expenses, unless it was on her dime. Thoughts of
killing him resurfaced.
What is wrong with me? Why did I wait so
long?
She immediately regretted the fleeting
question. She knew why. The answer brought back the pain and significance of
her father’s
sudden death. He had been the only family she had left, and he was gone. All
that was left behind was his detective agency. She had thought about giving it
up, but she couldn’t; it was her only connection to
him, to her family.
She closed her eyes briefly, realizing
that now she was facing more loss–even if he was a lying, cheating Rat Bastard.
No! It’s
better this way, stay focused.
She choked in a breath and turned her
attention back to the room. His secret love nest was finished with soothing
tones on the walls and thick, plush carpeting.
What is that on the end table?
Her gaze was drawn to the bottle label
as it bobbed upside down in the melting ice. She sharpened the focus of her
binoculars, and her eyes widened in recognition.
Her cheeks flushed. Cristal, she
scoffed. Who is this Bimbo, anyway?
As if she had room to criticize this
girl’s
intelligence, when Sheagan was the one sweating her makeup off in a
four-by-four-foot air-duct.
Yeah, who’s
the stupid one?
She heard passionate sounds coming from
the right of the room and recognized his tone. Leaning sideways, Sheagan
pressed her face to the grate, but her limited
view revealed only a portion of the bed
and unable to make out major details, like faces.
Crap, I can’t
see anything. Damn! She
needed to get a better look
As she shifted her weight, the metal
walls started to reverberate and Sheagan stifled a gasp, willing the rumbling
to cease. Her breathing became labored as the musty air stole the aroma of the
sweet perfume wafting up waft from the suite below. She stilled her movements
and did the only thing she could think of... nothing. Nothing but stare at the
heap of blankets and wait.
Come on, bimbo, come up for air. I know
he doesn’t last that long.
Her discomfort increased as the noise from their passion became more intense. Ugh, that’s it, I’ve had it!
She mashed her cheek and upper body against the grate.
I just need a peek to confirm.
She pressed harder, ogling the bed. Finally, she caught a tiny glimpse.
Just a little further.
She pushed and heard a chirring sound, then a scraping. She froze in place, but

and crashed to the ground. Time stood still as Sheagan realized there was
nothing between her and the floor except air.
