Erin is one smart cookie, but can she keep the holiday spirit—and herself—alive till Christmas?
In Jewel Bay, all is merry and bright. At Murphy's Mercantile, AKA the Merc, manager Erin Murphy is ringing in the holiday season with food, drink, and a new friend: Merrily Thornton. A local girl gone wrong, Merrily has turned her life around. But her parents have publicly shunned her, and they nurse a bitterness that chills Erin.
When Merrily goes missing and her boss discovers he's been robbed, fingers point to Merrily—until she's found dead, a string of lights around her neck. The clues and danger snowball from there. Can Erin nab the killer—and keep herself in one piece—in time for a special Christmas Eve?
Includes delicious recipes!

 REVIEW
*I received a free copy of this book from Netgalley which I voluntarily chose to write an honest review for.

So who is in the Christmas mood? If not you will be after reading this wonderful cozy mystery. Erin had hit the holiday season and in the middle of it she makes friends with a returning member of their town. Though the returning reception is less then grand after past events that no one can let go of. Things really get interesting when this same lady is found dead on her parents property. Erin cannot help but investigate even if she is gearing up for a very special Christmas Eve event that should be keeping her busy enough. It was great following her along as the story progressed with lots of little clues, holiday whimsy, a touch of romance, and more. I especially liked the ending. If you are a fan of cozy mysteries with a food type theme to them then you really have to try this book/series. I really liked it so I give it 4/5 stars.
