As a rare female chieftain of a small town the MC feels the residents ready for a revolt. Without her knowledge her sister prays to the family's ancient guardians for assistant. The answer will change the life of the MC forever as she has to deal with the consequences of the assistance though I must say she enjoys it more then she wants to tell them. If you are looking for a great dark RH romance novel that while it may contain triggers it is more consensual then it seems. I really liked it so I give it 4/5 stars.
