*I received a free copy of this book which I voluntarily chose to write an honest review for.

We meet Rett the leader of New Orleans that is currently having his reign challenged. Enter Emma who travels there with her business partner only to find herself pretty much kidnapped by Rett. He claims she is his and will have to accept that fact. She understandably tries to fight that assumption. Add in some danger, eclectic characters, and plenty of secrets to get a book that will pretty much keep you hooked from the beginning. I only say pretty much because there is quite a bit of her asking questions that are never answered that almost feels repetitive but actually we learn the answers at the same pace Emma does. This ends at a cliff hanger that will have you wondering who to believe. I really liked it so I give it 4/5 stars.
