Nice start to this series where we meet Onyx and the incredibly insane life he has lived. The age of 25 is very important in this world as that is the age you are hunted while gaining unheard of powers at the same time. The explanation is intriguing and mixed in between action to keep the story moving. Nice story building with that that intrigue. I really liked it so I give it 4/5 stars.
