This is a great addition to the world we were introduced to in Forged in Fire with Ezra and her men. Each book works as a stand alone but it is so much better if you read book one first. We meet Saige as she recuperates at the home of the Veles triplets after they rescue her from a research facility. As a human she knows she cannot stay as it would put them all at rick but at the same time she doesn't really want to leave. The triplets want her to stay as well but after she had no choices before they are determined to let her do as she wants so they let her go yet they do what they can to keep her safe once she does so. What they don't know is that they unwittingly created a flight bond that is bringing out a dragon in her that they had no clue existed. This makes things quite interesting as she returns a year later so they can figure it all out. Full of surprise twists as well as a feel good romance at the same time making for quite the enjoyable read. I really liked it so I give it 4/5 stars.
