Lila is all about looks and money.
I only care about my bike and my brothers.
But after a fire breaks out and she plays hero,
I wonder if there's more than meets the eye.
She thinks I'm just some muscle.
I think she's hot AF.
A little tryst between coworkers never hurt.
Right?
Wrong.

I have been hooked on the men of the Steel Scorpions MC since book one so I am always happy to get my hands on a new one. We catch back up with Bullet still on a rampage catching things on fire making business a hot mess. Viper is running one of the last remaining clubs and when is is needed is brings his top girl in to help them out. At first he is determined to not like her but over time this changes though all the interactions are explosive as can be making it quite fun to read.

“Thanks for bringing me home,” she said as she gripped her dressing room bag.
I slid my hands into my jean pockets to keep from reaching out for her. “Like I said, it’s my job.”
Her gaze raked down my body as she opened the door. “Uh huh.”
Jesus Christ, how I wanted to kiss her. I wanted to blanket her mouth with mine and back her into that apartment before I closed the door with her back. But I forced myself to stay put. She had almost been abducted by some crazy-ass drunk back at the bar. The last thing she needed was yet another man groping her body as if he felt entitled to it.
Besides, she worked for the club.
And Fangs would kill me if I became involved with any woman that worked for us.
“Well, you have a good night,” I said as I took a step backward.
She tilted her head. “Goodnight, Viper.”
I nodded. “Yeah, good night.”
“Night.”
I waved at her as I backtracked toward the stairs. “Night.”
She giggled. “You already said that.”
I winked. “So did you.”
Then, as she closed the door, I heard her flip the lock behind it, which made me feel comfortable about going down to my bike and leaving her for the night.
Even though I had to stuff my hand down my pants and rearrange my cock just so I could get on my bike and head home myself.
