And I definitely did not expect to be back in this house, where it all started. I have spent years avoiding this place, and the cold hard reality of what happened here. But I have no choice. REVIEW *I received a free copy of this book which I voluntarily chose to write an honest review for. What an intriguing book this is. We meet Raven as she has to return to her "family" home during the quarantined. This normally wouldn't be a problem but she has been avoided her guardian Milo for quite some time before this. She is afraid to be around him not knowing what will happen. Just when you start to question what happened we get taken on a tour of the past that enlightens us to the relationship these two have and it is not normal by any means. Knowing the past sets things up quite nicely for that cliff hanger ending as well. Book two should really start with a bang.
