 REVIEW
*I received a free copy of this book which I voluntarily chose to write an honest review for.

Welcome to another fun African adventure. We follow Rose is an avid animal lover making it her mission to save as many as she can. Living in Africa she gets to work with a wide variety which she loves. It starts with a sick baby rhino then moves to a race where the proceeds go to charity. She has attended every year since it started though this is the first one without her husband who is too ill to go. This makes the experience bitter sweet for her but she is still determined to go. Little things happen before the race that no one thinks twice about but they become important when a driver crashes getting seriously injured that he cannot come back from. He is part of team that usually wins so the accident is surprising but it gets even more so when Rose starts looking into things. This makes for a wild adventure as she tries to figure out what happened leading to secrets and surprises tied to the past. This makes for a fun read where you feel like you are in Africa with her as she discovers things. Makes for a well written adventure cozy perfect for readers looking for something a little different. I really liked it so I give it 4/5 stars.

About Victoria Tait

Victoria Tait is the author of the enchanting Kenya Kanga Mystery series. She’s drawn on her 8 years of experience living in rural Kenya, with her family, to write vivid and evocative descriptions. Her readers feel the heat, taste the dryness, and smell the dust of Africa. Her elderly amateur sleuth, “Mama Rose” Hardie is Agatha Christie’s Miss Marple reincarnated and living in Kenya. Like all good military wives, Victoria follows the beat of the drum and has recently moved to war-scarred Sarajevo in Bosnia. She has two fast growing teenage boys. She enjoys horse riding and mountain biking but is apprehensive about learning to ski. Victoria is looking forward to the sun, sand, and seafood of neighbouring Croatia when the world returns to normal.
