Welcome back to the mafia with Carson Kaslov an assassin who leads a rather ho hum life in between assignments. He meets Hailey as she is working as a bartender in the local pub near one of his homes in Switzerland. Drawn to her he keeps her keeps popping up where she is. Things get a little too far while the whole time she has no clue who he really is. Then the action starts moving the story at a fast clip all the way to the end. Makes for a fabulous fast paced read set in the familiar world Heard has created while being a complete stand alone. A great choice for fans of the genre. I really liked it so I give it 4/5 stars.
