*I received a free copy of this book which I voluntarily chose to write an honest review for.
I must say that Kearston has quickly become one of my fave go-to authors. All of her work had been fantastic and not even remotely disappointing. This one is no exception. It is part of a series but each book can be read as a stand alone though reading them all just makes it even better though not necessary in the least. This one is a dark remake of Rumpelstiltskin as you have never seen it before. It will hook you from the very first page all the way until the last one making for quite the enjoyable read that I highly recommend to fans of fairy tale retellings. I really liked it so I give it 4/5 stars.
