This book is fabulous! We meet Maeve who truly awesome at her job of hunting demons along with her partner who just happens to a prophet making him very valuable. In order to save him after an attack she has to team up with Ezra to find an ancient book that is hidden from everything. This is obviously quite challenging with lots of secrets and dark twists along the way. The two of them develop a bond along the way which truly tests the both of them. Makes for quite the enjoyable read as it all plays out keeping you guessing while enjoying all the moments. I really liked it so I give it 4/5 stars.
