Book one is the Booktown Mystery series. Meet Tricia who runs a mystery bookshop in a small town that is full of specialized book stores that just happened to reinvigorate the crumbling downtown area. Tricia finds her neighboring shop owner dead and herself as the prime suspect after the female sheriff decides to dislike her. Having read plenty of mystery novels she decides to investigate herself to clear her name and the development is quite interesting to say the least. Some smooth writing with lots of little details to move the story along. The characters are well-developed and the end of the mystery was ingenious. I look forward to reading more books in this series and give this one 4/5 stars.
