The Good the Bad and the Witchy by Heather Blake

The Good the Bad and the Witchy (A Wishcraft Mystery, #3)

Book three in the Wishcraft Mystery series. Darcy was hired to throw a lavish 80th birthday party but when the cake is late she finds the deliver man murdered instead of just stuck in traffic. The dead guy is a crafter that imprints on Darcy when she finds his body which pretty much means his ghosts is hanging out with her until she helps with his unfinished business though I am sure Darcy would get involved either way. Of course this means she has to solve his murder. The characters are all well-developed by this point so the author just adds another layer to this process making me like them even more. The addition of magic, mystery, the familiars, and some other fantasy bits added though out this is an interesting story that follows a logical development while still keeping the reader guessing along the way with nuggets in place to tease additional installments sort-of like the final scenes after the credits in the Marvel movies. I am definitely addicted to this series by this point and am looking forward to reading more. I give it 4/5 stars.
