Perilous Poetry by Kym Roberts

Perilous Poetry (A Book Barn Mystery)

*I received a free copy of this book from Netgalley which I voluntarily chose to write an honest review for.

Book three in the Book Barn Mystery series. I think I might be falling in love with the armadillo Princess. She is the cutest character in the book and the most amazing personality when it seems to be important though I would move into the Book Barn given half a chance. For this installment Charli is helping her cousin launch a new book type app that will benefit both him and the store itself. Shortly after the announcement though strange "accidents" start happening to Charli that start to make people ask questions. When dead bodies start showing up as well some of them demand that the app is turned off. The development of this story is very well structured smoothly transitioning from one scene to the next keeping the reader hooked. The characters are all full of life making them easy to get attached to and I will admit that I am so team Mateo at this point. Charli really needs to let ex-boyfriend go already as he so has some personal issues. Overall this is a really good cozy mystery novel that I highly recommend to fans of the genre as it very well written with a nice surprise ending. I really enjoyed it so it gets 4/5 stars.
