Book one in the new London Underground series. Great start to a new historical romance series. Meet Cassandra who helps run an underground gaming hall to raise funds. The Duke of Greyland has been looking for her for quite some time only by a different name when he finds her at the hall. She tries to avoid him but cannot and what follows is one of the funniest romance stories ever. They both are obviously attracted to one another yet due to their past they think they cannot be together so they try so hard to resist. Like all good romance novels though, the effort is useless, and instead lots of tension develops between the two of them until everyone that knows them can pick up on it too. This is a well written regency historical romance novel that will keep you hooked until you get to the very last page if you are a fan of the genre. I really enjoyed it so it gets 4/5 stars.
