Book six in the Playful Brides series. So it is finally Christian's turn for some romance after all the help he gave the others in the first five books in the series. To be honest I was starting to feel bad for the guy. He decided to leave town during the last book in the series, but when he arrives at his remote hunting lodge he finds it occupied by the seasons most recent bell of the ball without his permission. The two are snowed in together where they strike a deal to help one another. He will help cover up her trip alone pretty much and she will help him become suitable to find the wife he has been wanting. Of course what they do not realize is how much they actually suit each other so the sparks and jealousies fly as they return to town until they are essentially each hunting the other. This is an excellent regency historical romance novel that will keep the reader hooked wondering what will happen next as the story keeps moving forward until they find their happily ever after no matter what route they take to get there. A must read for fans of the genre. I really enjoyed it so it gets 4/5 stars.
