Arden and her Guardians are still in hiding at the start of this book. They are attempting to investigate in secret to figure out what is going on while keeping her safe at the same time. They are also trying their best to stay away from their feelings for each other still as well following the orders they were given previously. The problem is that fate has other plans for them all as they find themselves facing one trial after another as the story progresses leading us to one shocking ending that will leave you wanting more. Slightly slow start but then it really gets good. I really liked it so I give it 4/5 stars.
