What kind
of traveler are you? Are you organized? Or do you go where the wind takes you?
Do you
like to fill up every minute of vacation? Or have nothing planned? Or something
in between?
Do you
like going as part of a group tour? Or just you and your traveling group of
friends and family? Or maybe solo?
Naomi,
main character in The Traveler Cozy Mystery series, is a different traveler
depending on who she travels with. With her organized sister, Charlotte, in Sleuth
on Safari, Naomi went where she was told. Charlotte knew the itinerary
backwards and forwards.
With her
flighty mother, Deirdre, in R.I.P in Reykjavik, Naomi was the organized
one. She knew what days and what times she had tours and made sure she got
herself there. They had several day trips but she did have a few free evenings
to spend with a local, Osp, who she met at the hotel. Not to be outdone,
Deirdre also met a man on the trip.
With her
father, Richie, in Undone in Uluru, she’ll be more like how she was on
safari. Her father is uber-prepared for life.
With each
trip, Naomi learns something about being a better traveler. As she’s never
traveled with her father internationally before, she will learn a lot about
being prepared for any and every eventuality while abroad. She’ll also learn
the importance of packing your own hair styling products. Hotel products cannot
be counted on for great results.
While in
Australia, Richie and Naomi, will meet a solo traveler, Daniel. He will teach
both of them tricks to being prepared on vacation.
Naomi
will teach Daniel how to investigate a mystery while on vacation. Something the
typical traveler should never need!

REVIEW
*I received a free copy of this book which I voluntarily chose to write an honest review for.
Naomi is on vacation in Australia with her father. She hoping for an uneventful trip because her past travel buddies refuse to do so again thanks to her and luck of running across a dead body very time. This is why when dad got a kangaroo while driving she thought that would be it. Then they reach their next destination only to hear about a missing man as soon as they arrive. Still trying to have fun she goes about the planned itinerary as best she can. This includes some really interesting tours I must admit. Are me want to travel their myself. At least until a circling group of scavenger birds leads them straight to the dead body of the missing man. This is when Naomi cannot help but to start investigating. This makes for an uneventful interesting time as she asks questions while still playing tourist. Nice surprise ending too. All together this makes for an enjoyable travel cozy mystery. All the perks of being there without leaving your own home. A Fun read for fans of the genre. I really liked it so I give it 4/5 stars.

About A. R. Kennedy
A. R. Kennedy lives in Long Beach, New York, with her two pups. She works hard to put food on the floor for them. As her favorite T-shirt says, ‘I work so my dog can have a better life’. She’s an avid traveler. But don’t worry. While she’s away, her parents dote on their grand-puppies even more than she does. Her writing is a combination of her love of travel, animals, and the journey we all take to find ourselves.
