A fantastic addition to this magical series! We start with Jolene getting ready for the Policeman's Ball where she is going with Peter as well as Daisy. She is surprised when she gets there once she sees some ex-coworkers of hers as well as the ex-fiance and the woman her cursed. Being a masked ball she thinks she is safe from discovery at least before a cop is found murdered making them all suspects. An interesting mystery evolves from there with one really surprising solution. I especially enjoyed the growing relationship between Peter and Jolene. Even Daisy is being a tad bit nicer at times though she is still hilarious with her witty comebacks. A highly enjoyable read for fans of magical cozy mysteries. I really enjoyed it so I give it 4/5 stars.
