Blurb:
An epic mafia romance trilogy that sets a new bar for just how dark a hero can get, from NY Times Bestselling author CD Reiss. Some girls dream of marrying a prince, but I never imagined I’d be sold to a king. Santino DiLustro. The king. The monster. The keeper of secrets. When he forced me to marry him, I cried for love I’d never know. When he locked me away, I cried for the freedom I lost forever. Every other tear I’ve shed is for my soul, because I’m falling for the devil himself.

 REVIEW
*I received a free copy of this book which I voluntarily chose to write an honest review for.

What a great read this is! Emmy is nineteen, single, and going to nursing school. She is looking forward to a summer traveling abroad thanks to her loving aunt and uncle who took her in when her parents died when she was five. In under twenty four hours she goes from happy and care free to being forced into marry Santino known as the King. Fighting does no good but she tries anyways. Lots of tears, trying to run, and depression in general until she learns more. As they spend more time together things get a little easier making one wonder if they may have ended up together anyways if they went a more traditional route. Makes for a great read as it all plays out set in dangerous world that keeps them hopping. I highly recommend it to fans of arranged marriage/mafia romance. I really liked it so I give it 4/5 stars.

About the Author:
CD Reiss is a New York Times bestselling author. She still has to chop wood and carry water, which was buried in the fine print. Her lawyer is working it out with God but in the meantime, if you call and she doesn't pick up she's at the well hauling buckets. Born in New York City, she moved to Hollywood, California to get her master's degree in screenwriting from USC. In case you want to know, that went nowhere but it did give her a big enough ego to write novels. She's frequently referred to as the Shakespeare of Smut which is flattering but hasn't ever gotten her out of chopping that cord of wood. If you meet her in person, you should call her Christine.
