Book three in the Stained-Glass series. Georgia feels like she has finally gotten her life together by this book. She is still creating her stained glass pieces but now she also works part-time for the local lawyer as well as at her granddads movie theater. She thinks are swell until her mom comes for a visit with the newest step-dad and the two of them try to convince her that she needs to move out of granddads house. The problem is they did not ask her or him so they should really stay out of it but we all know how parents are so what can you do. Things get worse when she discovers that Friday is now in heat making her act a little crazy. Thankfully Fifi does not seem to mind (she adopted the dog at the end of the last book). While dealing with the previous insanity a local activist is found dead and Rozelle (grandads main squeeze) becomes the main suspect since she cooked the danish that was used to poison him. Of course she has to investigate and I have to admit I about died laughing when I read how the police decided to go about the end of their investigation (no spoilers so that is all I can say). This is a wonderful cozy mystery that combines some well developed characters with lots of quirky little things that keep the reader turning the page until they hit the very last one. I really enjoyed so it gets 4/5 stars.
