Book three in the Highlanders series. Meet Saidh as she travels to the lands of the Laird MacDonnell. She decided to travel there to visit her cousin after she heard that her husband had recently died. This in itself would not be troubling but Saidh knows that her cousin killed her first husband because she helped to cover it up and the newest one is number four. The raises some questions that need to be answered in order to ease her conscious. Shortly after arrival she stumbles across the laird naked swimming in the loch which piques her interest despite her protests. He is intrigued as well since Saidh does not act like a normal lady after being raised a s the only girl amongst several brothers. Their mutual attraction grows until he finds himself unable to stop himself from "ruining" her but before he does so he writes a letter to her brothers which stirs up all kinds of drama. While the romance is developing there is also lots of other drama that keeps the story moving along nicely until they wrap things up at the very end. I highly recommend this book for fans of highland historical romance novels and since I really enjoyed it i give it 4/5 stars.
