What a cute children's picture book that tells the story of an elephant and sheep who becomes friends as they share a limited amount of resources during a drought. The two become such good friends that when sheep finds out the elephant has no family he asks him to join his. Which is obviously does so the two of them can live happily ever after together as one big happy family. A truly cute tale of friendship despite the odds told in a vocabulary that will hook young ones paired with some very colorful illustrations to keep their attention. Would work well for story time. I really enjoyed it so it gets 4/5 stars.
