Book two in the Knight and Moon series. Having established the characters in book one this one picks up with Moon working for Knight though she refuses to live in his huge house renting an apartment instead. Late one night before she goes home the house alarm starts blaring and when they go check they are met by a Buddhist monk that Knight is friends with. the monk claims an entire island has gone missing. Since this is impossible Knight and Moon have to look into it. What follows is one of the funniest investigations I have read in a long time. I found myself rolling on the floor laughing quite a few times before I finished the last page. The eccentric nature of the characters combined with some oddball tendencies proves to be a hilarious combination when it comes to solving a mystery though they do figure it all out in the end. Since I absolutely loved this book from page one all the way through it gets 5/5 stars.
